Four Play Sessions is a mix series from Chicago’s Four Play Music and featuring the talents of Mr. Andrew Emil & Friends, published each month exclusively for 5 Magazine.
This set is from Chicagodeep and Taelue, working together now on a hometown imprint Perpetual Rhythms:
Estimulo Show residents Victor Aguinaga AKA Chicagodeep and Nick Marshall AKA Taelue, have been collecting records for years; Vic boasting over two decades of experience DJing and over a decade for Nick. Production wise, their debut track entitled “Sunday Drive” was featured on Ernie’s respected Spanish Label; Minuendo Recordings.
In 2013, Victor and Nick started their own imprint; “Perpetual Rhythms”. Artists such as Specter, Linkwood, Chicago Skyway, DCook, HVL, & CSPOK have all appeared on the label, including the label bosses themselves. They are now embarking on the label’s fourth release which will be a collaborative effort between Taelue & Chicagodeep under the guise “Ghosts Of The Sky”. This should be out out around February 2015.
In addition to their label, they will be appearing on Ben Parkinson’s Uk Label; Boe Recordings. Each have contributed a track to Boe’s “Halal Prepared Vol .3” due out January 2015.
