When we turned five years, we showed out in the biggest possible way.
When we turned 10, we let out a huge sigh of relief.
At 11 years we’ve made some changes and are excited with the new. At 2 digital issues a month, a growing membership (are you one?) and thousands of articles under our belt, we’re continuing to move forward.
For this year’s big birthday party, 5 Mag returns to Smartbar with a headliner we’ve been trying to get for years: Baltimore’s own DJ Spen. Although many associate him as being a Soulful House DJ and Producer, the man actually has the whole gamut of music under his belt: from his Hip-Hop roots to pop to every style of House music imaginable. My recent interview with him will be coming up next week so I’ll save all the goodies for then.
Suffice it to say: save Saturday, August 27th 2016, 10pm-5am. It will be DJ Spen and 5 Magazine’s Rees Urban and Czboogie. If you’ve never been to a 5 Mag event, you’re in for a treat… We usually give out lots of gifts, throw in a dance performance or 2 and always have a great vibe… Thank you for your support and we are counting on seeing you there!
