The braintrust behind Charivari – the homegrown Detroit music festival 5 Mag has variously described as “everything you want from a Detroit festival” and “best kept secret in the American electronic music scene” – have announced an amazing first wave of artists for this summer’s festival.
Charivari 2020 will be the planners “most ambitious event to date.” The first wave includes Detroit legends Moodymann, Delano Smith, Juan Atkins, Mike Huckaby, Terrence Parker and Eddie Fowlkes.
Charivari 2020 will also include the all-female stage headlined by one of the best DJs in the world, DJ Minx, with LadyMonix, 5 Mag’s Czboogie and more.
Charivari 2020 will take place in Detroit on July 31 2019 through August 2 2019. More talent can be picked out on the flyer and on the Charivari website.
