For the first time in nearly two years, a dance music festival will return to Chicago’s 26 miles of beaches.
Mamby on the Beach, presented by React, will take off July 11 and July 12 2015 at Oakwood Beach in Chicago (that’s at 4100 S. Lake Shore) at what the organizers are calling “a new and untouched lakefront venue” featuring two stages and a line-up heavy on the Summertime vibes. Headlining are Sydney, Australian electronic group Empire of the Sun and Passion Pit, James Murphy (DJ set) and Art Department (in one of their final appearances as a tandem), along with Classixx (live), George Fitzgerald, Moon Boots, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Claptone, No Regular Play, Com Truise, Matthew Dear, Cashmere Cat and hometown heroes Greg Corner, Orchard Lounge, NorDJs, Redux, Gene Farris and Dustin Sheridan and Steve Gerard.
Tickets for Mamby on The Beach are on sale now; see mambybeach.com.
