Ultra has announced phase one of their line-up for the 2019 Ultra Miami festival and it includes a few of the bigger arena-type acts that play tolerable techno.
Among the acts announced are Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Tale of Us, Richie Hawtin, Technasia, Pleasurecraft, Marco Bailey, Junior Sanchez and the Martinez Brothers.
In an effort to spice up the festival headliners, many of the acts will be tag-teaming or playing b2b sets, among them Sasha and John Digweed, Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati and Dubfire b2b2b with Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna.
The artists will be playing at a festival featuring David Guetta, Tiesto, Odesza, Afrojack and other EDM artists with logos that look like failed Swedish metal bands of the ’80s.
Earlier this year Miami forced Ultra to move from historic Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. The 2019 festival will be held at Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami Marine Stadium, a barrier island in Biscayne Bay accessible from the mainland via the Rickenbacker Causeway.
