Loft Frequencies, the brainchild of promoter Shawn Blond, has previously raised over $4K from his previous three events for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. He had dedicated the money to this organization for a sick friend which had featured DJs such as Dan Bell, Miles Maeda, Diz and Secret Studio to name but a few.

On Saturday, February 16 2019, Shawn is bringing back Colette and upping the ante by also having her partner in crime and fellow Superjane member DJ Heather as part of the Second City Sessions 10 Year Anniversary Tour. This time part of the proceeds will be going to Bear Necessities Pediatric Foundation.

“There has been a rash of friends and friends of family members dying of cancer over the last two years, and I know someone whose child personally benefited from one of their wish foundations before passing,” Shawn says.

Rounding out the lineup will be Adonis Childs & Bai-ee, Hootie and Redux.

Loft Frequencies will once again feature not only the DJs but live art. Shawn promises that given the date is on Valentines Day weekend, they have hired an interior decorator and lighting designer to help transform the loft into an amorous and whimsical affair.
