Friday October 4: On Friday night, Julia Govor will be at Cerise on the rooftop of the Virgin Hotel. Govor will be performing an extended 4 hour set showcasing “a music library featuring experimental music, advanced power house and techno.” [ tix ]
Saturday October 5: Carl Craig is the guest at Oktave’s 10 year anniversary on Saturday night at Smartbar. Here’s a real f’ing talk interview about it with resident Jeff Derringer. Huge support from across the midwest for this one, expect to see some of your techno friends who never come out. [ tix ]
Sunday October 6: Sunday night, Anané will be playing with resident Mike Dunn at Renaissance Bronzeville. [ tix ]
The Backline
Also on Friday, Richie Hawtin will be playing Concord Music Hall as part of his nationwide tour with Steve Gerard [ tix ]
Jayda G will be at Smartbar’s Queen! on Sunday night with Derrick, Serafini and Garrett. [ $10 before 11, $15 after ]
And Friday is Techno Day, apparently as you can pick from Julia, Richie or UMEK, who will be at PRYSM (formerly Crobar) with Hiroko Yamamura. [ tix ]
