Donnell Pitman Live: Universal Vibrations at Hideout April 15 2017

Few names have appeared on so many wantlists of vinyl diggers as Donnell Pitman. After releasing a handful of Disco/Funk records in the early 1980s, his reputation burst out of the cult sensation category when Joey Negro’s Under The Influence featured his 7″ “Love Explosion”:

Now working with Wings of Sunshine on Tim Zawada’s Star Creature Records, this record release party debuting their collaboration together will mark the first time Donnell Pitman will be performing in Chicago since the mid-1980s.
