Is this possible? Apparently so: Produced With Love, the just-announced album from Joey Negro, is the UK disco and soulful house producer’s first LP in more than 20 years.

Forthcoming in June, Produced With Love (a take on his Remixed With Love compilations) sees Negro collaborating with several legendary vocalist divas, including Linda Clifford, Angela Johnson, the late Diane Charlemagne and Melba Moore, plus Horse Meat Disco. The lead single with Clifford, “Won’t Let Go,” is out now (and reviewed in issue 147 of 5 Mag):

“I was 13 when I first heard ‘Boogie Nights’ by Heatwave on a children’s TV show,” Negro says in a release. “It started a love affair with disco music that has lasted all my life. There’s so much to love in disco. 40 years later I still hear plenty of sample tracks based around disco records but what I don’t come across much of is actual original new material made to the disco blueprint.”

Produced With Love is out June 30 2017 on triple vinyl, double CD and digital formats. Tracklisting below:
