Big love for Aathee which has spread love and a hazy, woozy, narcotic type of electronic music from Chicago. Not a lot of places make it to seven years, or seem quite as strong. The latest releases from Aathee are picking up a head of steam like the blazed, nodding “Pull Up” by co-founder Hopscotch. Buzzed vocal clips from what sounds like grime are balanced out by spacey synth waves and bubbling percussion.

It takes a full two and a half to three minutes to build up to its full head of steam. Always on point, these guys.
