Jeff Rushin steps out on Speaking Of Witch, a new four track EP of warm, energetic techno released this week on ODD EVEN.

Rushin makes mental, trippy tracks with a rhythm section as dense as lead. The lead track “Confusion” has a bit of a ravey vibe – that obsessive sample repeating the title is something I can envision as the opener on a classic Joey Beltram mixtape – with drums like hydraulic pumps and bass that rolls through the room like a slow, ominous thundershower:
