Written this about 15 different times and 15 different ways but it bears repeating: if you’re not paying attention to Jeremy Sylvester’s bandcamp, then brothers and sisters you are missing out. Sylvester’s discography is a treasure chest of musical gems, tracks half-heard but still remembered from that lost mixtape or that lost 3am show.

Step by step Sylvester is polishing them off, sometimes releasing the output on vinyl but often as a remastered cut dropped exclusively on one of the best Bandcamp pages on the site.

The latter is the case with “Do It Baby,” the b-side of the 1997 Work Your Body EP released under his Miles Fontaine alias on Street Dubz.

With its carnival-like piano punches doubling a surly 303 gurgle and a vocal breaking up right up against the mic, this is classic UKG from Sylvester/Fontaine. Whatever else you were going to drop £2 on today, buy this instead.
