“Sunny” is an understatement: Lanowa’s “My Fantasy” burns bright enough to bore a hole through whatever dark vibes you’re being saddled with this summer. A beautiful vocal flits about like a dazzled butterfly over strings, guitars and a rubbery acid bassline buried way down in the mix.

Crooked Man is given room to wander and explore and navelgaze with three remixes here. The “Chapter 1” remix features a meandering guitar that nearly turns over into a rocksteady strut. “Chapter 2” transplants a piece of blue sky into the club, and “Chapter 3” buries it under a bassline heavier than lead. “Lanowa” is a pure essence of imaginary summers. Everyone besmirched by black clouds should have this in heavy rotation until they lift.
