Stick around at this job and you’ll see everything twice. You’ll see a pair of young kids, Chris and Steve Martinez, chaperoned to clubs by an older relative and mentored by the previous generation of New York City house music idols, among them Louie Vega.
The Martinez Brothers are probably now old enough to do some mentoring of their own, but they’re teaming up with the Master at Work for Let It Go, a new EP on their Cuttin Headz label.
“Let It Go” first appeared on the Martinez Brothers’ Fabric Presents mix (see more about that here) and there are rumors of a rare 10″ floating around Amsterdam for ADE. Today is the official release date, with additional remixes and the voice of Marc E. Bassy. Listen up:
“Let It Go” is out now digitally and will be out on wax at the end of November.
