You never know what you’re going to get from Niko Marks. I mean that in a good way.

On Reach Out, you’re going to get his soulful side — soulful house, soulful deep house and soulful music embedded in a four track EP from Yore.

The title track is a gorgeous fragment of vocal deep house, a track so compact and tempered that it’s hard to imagine a situation in which this won’t work for a DJ set.

This is the winner, but certainly not the only great moment here. “Against Violence” is evocative of some of the best remixes of Joe Claussell and “You Will See The Light” is another highly effective soulful house people-mover.

Reach Out is being released on 12″ vinyl from Yore.
