This track has been pirated almost since WMC ended. I’m not sure if that’s an indication of the tremendous vibe around this song or what, but Strictly released it on its own, with no remixes, quite possibly to get it out there before the leak killed it. Whatever the case, it’s a work of art. There’s no one in the business currently making tracks like this, so deftly blending elements of the classic House sound with the new, from the build of the old school organ hooks (and I’m 100% certain it sounds old school on purpose – wait, I’m going somewhere with this) to the modern beats and the sterling progression which means this track couldn’t have been made at any other time besides 2009. And by no one other than Dennis Ferrer.
