DJ Sneak’s sound is pretty timeless by now; if you like his past releases, you’ll probably get into this one as well. “Marijuana” is classic Sneak, with a heavier than heavy bass, clean drums and a sound that remains both interesting and catchy without being repetative. “Come Back Johnny” is more of a beat track, but the beats sound amazing – you don’t just hear it, but feel it, like someone kicking on the front door. The original mix of “Get Da Ho” has a jacking beat and a complicated but danceable organ riff. DJ Mes’ Get Da House Rub is more on the new school tip – take the original, muffle the beat and throw in a few still more random effects and you’ve got it.
