Kai Alce luv fantasy album artwork

Kai Alcé makes some of the deepest soul and the soulfulest deep house known to man. Here are three more servings of the good stuff, the nourishing stuff prepped up on the Luv Fantasy EP on his NDATL label.

“Heaven” has that signature two chord sway topped with a virtuoso performance on keys (and flute, I think.) The title track is outstanding, but the record really shines (the puns in this are only going to get worse) on “Stars.” This is high octane dancefloor fuel, with punchy drums, dreamy chords and a diva vocal sample powering a groove that makes it all but impossible to stand still. Another brilliant 12 inch.
