Vibe Me To The Moon’s debut release sees Nightsteppaz teaming up with Roland Clark for some pointed commentary on the state of the scene. If you’ve ever noticed your friends going to work on Monday in a worse mood than they were before a weekend out – congratulations, you’ve discovered the secret of modern nightlife, in which clubbing is meant to be instagrammed rather than enjoyed.

“Energy of the Room” addresses this in so many words, and through five mixes from some stellar production jocks searches for solutions. An antidote is almost certainly to be found in MANIK‘s remix, my top cut on the EP where acid is made flesh. Joeski’s remix packs a punch – it’s kind of incredible to note here how on point with a modern vibe his remixes and productions are these days without sacrificing any of the energy. Jay Tripwire strips it down with a tweaking edit while Chris Luzz harnesses a tribal essence.
