Presented by Jones Corner Store and Creative Netwerk, featuring free coloring books and hands-on activities for children and families.
1 p.m. – Youth & Family Footwork Appreciation Month Dance Workshop
An interactive, all-ages dance workshop led by Creative Netwerk’s Mike D and King Charles with live music by DJ D9-3.
2 p.m. – Footwork Appreciation Month Showcase
Curated by Creative Netwerk, this high-energy showcase celebrates Chicago House Dance and Chicago Footwork through performances featuring pioneers, youth, and community dance crews representing multiple generations of Chicago dancers.
2:30 p.m. – Body: House Dance Competition Finals
Presented by Jus.Be House Collective, the tournament finals bring together top House dancers for an afternoon of competition. DJs Duane Powell, DJ T-Rell, and DJ Vader (Circle Theory) provide the music, while Bruno Blaque, China (Kamikaze), King Charles (Creation Global, Creative Netwerk), Mlaya Moves (Untouchables), and Shan S (Dance Fusion) serve as judges. Hosted by Daniel “BRAVEMONK” Haywood (BraveSoul Movement).
3:50 p.m. – House Dance Summit Awards Ceremony
Presented by Jus.Be House Collective, celebrating the finalists, champions, and artists who helped make this year’s House Dance Summit possible.
