Balearica

Balerica, balearic music, balearic house and other variations is a syncretic genre of music best described as relaxed, laid-back and warm dance music hovering somewhere where deep house, downtempo and yacht rock meet. The name refers to the Spanish Balearic Islands, particularly Ibiza, where the sound originated in clubs including Cafe del Mar and Amnesia in the late 1980s.
