DJ Nanoos is a Palestinian-Armenian DJ, producer, and cultural curator based in Chicago by way of Detroit. She is known for her original production that foregrounds Midwest club music while weaving in Arabi-inspired instrumentation and experimental electronic music.
With roots in the SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) diaspora, she uses her platform to explore the intersections of music, identity, and cultural resistance. Nanoos has carved out a distinct presence in the underground music scene, where she not only delivers high-energy, immersive sets but also engages in critical conversations around representation in nightlife. Her work pays homage to the rich traditions of the Levant, recontextualizing them through Techno, Ghettotech, Juke, and beyond.
