A shooting after midnight on the morning of February 27 has sent two people to the hospital.
The incident took place outside Hue Chicago, a restaurant/nightclub at 67 E. Cermak between S. Michigan Avenue and S. Wabash Avenue.
Fox 32 reports that the victims were standing on the sidewalk outside Hue Chicago just before 1am on Monday morning when someone from a pickup truck fired in their direction, according to police.
Two people were injured by gunshots and sent to the hospital. A 31 year old male, who works as correctional officer, is being held in serious condition at Stroger Hospital with wounds to his back and his arms, and a 27 year old woman with graze wounds was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
