Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Chosen Few Picnic – the 25th annual old school House Music and Disco reunion taking place at Jackson Park (63rd and Hayes) on the Southside of Chicago July 4 2015.
This year’s guests include Masters at Work duo Louie Vega and Kenny Dope (who are also celebrating their 25th anniversary), Derrick Carter, Stan Zeff, Keith Fobs and Greg Gray, live performances from Stephanie Mills, Evelyn “Champagne” King and Cory Daye and the Chosen Few DJs (Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hatchett, Alan King, Andre Hatchett, Terry Hunter and Mike Dunn).
General Admission tickets are $25 ($10 off from the $35 tickets available at the gate on the day of the event), with packages which include various parking, VIP access, and food and beverage options ranging from $40 to $500 (the All-Access Platinum Passes are all sold out). Discounted hotel accommodations are also available (though one should probably make haste, given it’s a holiday weekend with multiple other events drawing people from out of town).
Tickets are available at chosenfewdjs.com or directly from eventbrite.
