World renowned house music veteran Junior Sanchez is coming to Chicago for a special 5 Mag Presents show at Smartbar this August 30.
Having made his mark throughout a 20+ year career, Sanchez is coming off of an especially righteous 2018, including the celebrated reunion of his collaboration with DJ Sneak & Roger Sanchez (as The S-Men). He has dropped releases on acclaimed labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, and Yoshitoshi, just to name a few, and continues to power forward in the underground realms of house and techno.
Joining Junior is Chicago legend Gene Hunt – the man made at the Muzik Box, who released his first records on Chicago’s Trax and Amsterdam’s Djax.
And 5 Mag founder, editor, and publisher Czboogie, one of Chicago’s most seasoned house music contributors. Keeping the scene vibrant and lively through her music as well as 5 Mag’s party promotions and coverage, she’ll shine her unique style upon us during this special event.
