DAYHAUS is a love letter to the queer community who are the backbone and heart of house music of the past and today. Get ready for a day filled with filthy house beats, leaving all your worries on the dancefloor.

Chicago, IL – The city that birthed house music and House of Haus Productions are providing a day experience of the house music vibes of Tulum to the heart of Boystown on February 22. DAYHAÜS is bringing together individuals who are queer and beyond, dancers, and house heads from across Chicago to celebrate community, energy, and the timeless sounds of house music during the current state of the world. This unmissable event will take place at D.S. Tequila on February 22.
House of Haus Productions was started by 3 friends, iamBrandon, Alex York, and Passport Paul who wanted to bring their own flair to the Chicago Nightlife scene. “The main goal is, it is not about who you are, we want everyone to feel comfortable no matter who they are, what they may look like, we want you on the dancefloor! With how the current state of the world is, we want to bring people together through the power of House Music.” said Passport Paul.
DAYHAÜS is the second installment of House of Haus Production events, the first being GROOVEHAÜS in January 2025. DAYHAÜS will be featuring the DJ acts of Mary K, VITIGRRL, CZ Boogie, and IamBrandon. The event will be hosted by Gina Belle, Khloe Coulee, Dr. Luv, Viktoria Kay Frost, and Alex York. Sponsors of the event will be DS Tequila, SWAY, Wayne Underwear, Video Head Cleaner, and Jackbox Games.
“Support LGBT Chicago Local Businesses, especially Black Business.’ said iamBrandon. We wanted our events to not only be a “party”, we also wanted to highlight businesses and the LGBT community of Chicago.” There are so many amazing queer parties like BOOTS, Very That, Freaq, Affairs, LEGENDARY, Bump and many more happening now in Chicago, it feels like a rebirth in a way.” said Brandon.
DAYHAÜS tickets are available now on Eventbrite and there will be some surprises for attendees. “Now more than ever spaces like these are vital. Division and hate are being fueled by those in power, but nightlife has always been a sanctuary.” said Alex York.
