Global Currency is a Chicago-based collective and event series founded by DJ IGGY and DJ Mochi that celebrates international club music culture. The event began as a live-stream in 2020 and has since grown into a quarterly dance party at Sleeping Village, in partnership with Red Bull. GC has headlined music festivals, performed on stages throughout North America, and collaborated with special guest DJs and artists from around the world. The party’s mission is to build a diverse and forward-thinking community, open to fresh sounds and experiences.
