Chicago Music Nexus returns for its second year with an array of special guests, workshops, panels and more, focusing on artists aiming to make or elevate a career in electronic music.

Chicago house music veteran and ARC Music Festival co-founder John Curley is among the announced panelists this year, along with Daisy Santow (Wasserman), Ky Williams, Emma Kapotes, Proppa and more.

Chicago Music Nexus describes its mission as honoring Chicago’s electronic music roots while “empowering the next generation of artists and professionals with the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to thrive in today’s evolving music landscape.”

Chicago Music Nexus 2025 will be held on November 22, 2025 from 2pm to 10pm at The Joinery (2533 W. Homer St.). Co-founder Olivia Mancuso points out the importance of live events like Chicago Music Nexus:

“Nothing replaces the power of in-person connections in this industry. A single conversation at the right event can open doors that years of online networking can’t. We created Chicago Music Nexus because these career-changing opportunities shouldn’t be so rare.”
