Full Coverage of the City of Chicago Frankie Knuckles Tribute Tues June 3 2014

As announced previously, this June 3, 2014, the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events will be holding a dance party in Millennium Park to pay tribute to Frankie Knuckles.

The festivities will begin at 6pm at the Chase Central Promenade in Millennium Park at 201 E. Randolph Street. (In case of rain, the event will be held at the Chase North Promenade.)

Here is the line-up:

6pm – Opening words from Robert Williams and Alan King
6:15pm – Music begins with DJ set by Elbert Phillips (pictured above)
6:55pm – DJ set by Craig Loftis
7:35pm – DJ set by Greg Gray
8:15pm – DJ set by Mike Winston
9pm – End

There will be a live stream of the event at UndergroundHouse.tv.
