An incredible, nearly two full hour video has surfaced online, purportedly from the closing week (August 22nd and 27th, 1987) of the Paradise Garage, one of the handful of classic coordinates of the earth where disco engines forged the latticework for pretty much everything we do today.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: THE LAST NIGHT OF THE PARADISE GARAGE (FULL 2 HOUR VIDEO)

There are very few video clips of the Paradise Garage online.

I am very privileged to be able to share with you a full 2 hour videotape of the last week (22nd and 27th August 1987) in this famous New York Club.

To the best of my knowledge, there are snippets of it online but not the whole film. Some of the footage was used in the Mel Cheren documentary, “Maestro”.

The video is raw and sound is sketchy in places but perfectly enjoyable.

Look out for a very special moment in the film where you can Keith Haring is on the floor dancing to Phyllis Hyman – “You Know How To Love Me” (1hr 26 mins).

This is a very, very special film and will remain “unlisted” on You Tube for the next 7 days!!!

Please comment with your memories and share with anyone who has an interest in this wonderful place.

Peace!!
