Ten City has dropped a new remix of their latest single “Love Is Love” featuring some expert vocal and production work from fellow Chicago artists.
Chicago duo DRAMA are the remixers of choice for “Love Is Love,” which was originally released last month on Helix Records. The remix (which dropped December 9) features original vocals from DRAMA’s Via Rosa interwoven with Byron Stingily’s original soulful vox, with pulsating, almost electro-pop vibes from DRAMA producer Na’el Shehade. Ten City is one of the original Chicago house music bands, now made up of producer Marshall Jefferson and vocalist Byron Stingily. Their last album Judgement was nominated for a Grammy Award.
The DRAMA remix of “Love Is Love” — the title track of Ten City’s forthcoming album, due to arrive in 2023 — is out now on streaming platforms and for DJs an extended remix available from Beatport.
