A chill latin-influenced beat characterizes this track with a sweeter-than-sugar vocal loop. The arrangement is pretty nice – not overloaded with samples for the sake of it, but interesting enough both to listen to and to keep a dancefloor moving. One can say that there’s a lot of laziness with some producers on the latin tip these days – it seems like all you have to do is add a few congas and a few lines of Portuguese and you’ve got an instant (but instantly forgotten) hit. Ruffin on the other hand seems to tap into the sound for inspiration rather than raw material and gives it his own spin.
