Glenn Underground and Boo Williams share a rare connection among DJs. After some three decades of close friendship and countless gigs together, the two Chicago House pioneers will be giving their hometown a rare gift this Friday night when they play a b2b set at Smartbar (also on the bill is Gramaphone Records owner and Queen resident Michael Serafini).
This is the oldest tape of its kind in our possession… and it sounds like it! But I think you can hear through the 20+ years of crud to capture some of that ’90s Chicago Deep House magic. Each side is 42 minutes and have been preserved here in that form. Tracklisting below is from mixesdb.com:
