Welcome Home is this Friday December 7 at Smartbar featuring residents Ariel Zetina, Harry Cross and Sevron. It is also a toy drive to support Lakeview Pantry, one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries aiming to eliminate hunger and poverty since 1970.
New, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-13 will be accepted at the front door (which open at 10pm per ritual). “As a thank you for your support of our community,” Smartbar says, “you’ll receive discounted admission and be entered in a raffle to win smartbar swag and other prizes.”
Admission is $7 advance/$10 at the door if you want to be a scrooge or hoard the toys for yourself. More info at smartbarchicago.com.
