The dates are in for what we can safely say is the most preeminent event for the electronic music industry. ADE (or Amsterdam Dance Event) will be held from Wednesday October 16th thru Sunday October 20th.
Now on its 24th edition, this global gathering which many say has come to replace and go way beyond what used to be the Miami Winter Music Conference (or Miami Music Week as it was last called) is expecting an estimated 400,000 visitors for 2019. To give you an idea of its enormity in scope, last year alone ADE featured over 2,500 artists, 550 speakers, 200 venues and visitors from over 100 countries. It covers almost every aspect of the electronic music scene and its culture, with Amsterdam having comprehensive art, film, gear, live music and pop-up programs spread out across the city.
