Fice Gallery in Salt Lake City will be hosting a night of interactive installations with a soundtrack by local DJs to benefit the Frankie Knuckles Foundation.

Neon Desert Exp 1 will be held on Friday, December 10 from 8pm to 12am. The collaboration between the University of Utah’s multi-disciplinary design program and Fice Gallery will immerse visitors in “the world of Salt Lake City house music” and celebrate the culture and history of house music in the Mountain West:

Groove to Deep House sets from eras past and present while you browse through a timeline of House history and culture in the indoor gallery space before being transported outside into the Neon Desert. The back lot will be the energetic core of the event where people can dance to prominent House DJs and purchase exclusive event memorabilia. Whether you are completely new to House or a Paradise Garage veteran, all are welcome to join us in celebrating House music in Utah.

Neon Desert Exp 1 will bring together creatives including ThenWhat | Brand Lab, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation, New City Movement, Fatfish Media, V. Project, Design 2 Print NYC, and Social Antidote.

Date: Friday, December 10th 8PM – 12AM
Location: Fice Gallery 160 E 200 S Salt Lake City, UT 84111
