The world’s friendliest party is back this year with yet another fantastic lineup! Southport Weekender’s 2018 confirmed roster includes Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge (“We are Family”, He’s the Greatest Dancer”), Jazzy Jeff, Louie Vega, Def Mix’s David Morales and Hector Romero, Joey Negro, Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, Karizma, Chicago’s very own Jamie 3:26 to name a few. Live performances will include Juliet Roberts, Robert Owens, Alison Limerick the London House Gospel Choir and Leroy Burgess with a full live band.
The festival will have nine (count ’em 9!) arenas comprised of The Powerhouse, the Funkbase, the Suncebeat Dome, the Beat Bar Live Lounge, the London Liverpool Disco Arena, Deep into Soul Arena, Mi Soul Arena, The VIP Arena and the Exclusive Green Room.
Started 30 years ago, Southport Weekender began as a weekend event which culminated in its finale in 2015. Then after a year break they restarted the in demand party instead putting all the incredible talent into one day in London.
Standard tickets are available along along with VIP passes. An super special VIP package is also available with allows the festival goers access to the backstage and green room area to meet the artists.
