Dear Lord, these are some devastating remixes. Karizma in the guise of his Kaytronik persona has taken a swing at remixing “Love Me,” swiped off of Atjazz and Julian Gomes’ 2018 album Big Bad Crazy.
These two 12″ remixes are just exquisite. The appropriately titled “Kaytronik Defibrillator Dub” is a dub for the ages, and can be played front to back and from a pair of “dubs” until you scrape your dancefloor off the ceiling. Trippy, thinned down and decomposed down to an almost trip-hop like haziness, this is Karizma at his best:
The beats mix is great too, beyond its use as a DJ tool. This is vinyl only for the moment as far as I can tell, and available at Juno and Phonica and presumably wherever fine wax products are sold.
