This vinyl pressing by DJ Sneak appears to contain some forgotten edits from yesteryear, exhibiting the funky cut-up sound of ’90s underground House that made such a dramatic impact on some of today’s younger producers. Of the four tracks, “Ahhh Baby” is instant heat – just a simple, screaming diva sampled over a dirty brass loop. It’s very basic and utterly irresistable. “La Sneak Le Spankers” and “Yeah Come On” veer off into disco territory. Amid all of the filler being churned out by labels these days, this is an honest-to-God extended play EP with four solid tracks.
