Funky shit from Louie Gomez. “Everybody” takes it down a notch from peak hour-type of house to chilled, head-nodding/shoulder-bobbing grooves. The vocal samples come on about halfway through and open up a range of vistas for DJs: you can go in any number of directions from this track, into funky house or tribal or afro or deep. “What I Need” has an original mix that hits the perfect blend of soul and deep house and a dub that brings in the tribal vibes.
