Reformed Society: Food For Thought

Big, bright chords and beautiful synths pass over you in waves on Reformed Society’s new four track EP, pressed to wax and out in December from Italian imprint What Ever Not.

“Sunflower Starfish” has the heart of a metronome that’s grown sentient, learned to shimmy and shake and throw off some raw emotional techno and proto-house along the way. The remix by Panorama Bar resident Massimiliano Pagliara injects a bit of funk into the bottom and a synth melody as bright as a solar storm.

The B-side features the title track and “Zero Gravity,” reeking with so much analog soul you might get drunk on the fumes.
