DJ/Producer J Lektro and songwriter/vocalist Patty Plezhur of Pleazhurhouse have a new label, called Level E. The new imprint debuts in collaboration with Jerry C. King of Kingdom Digital Music Group with two releases, “Killer” (out now) and “We Roar.” (“Rotate,” a grimy old school House track, will be set for summer release.)
“We Roar” by J Lektro has a techy, latinesque beat and hypnotic vocal stabs perfect for keeping the dancefloor moving, while “Killer” has a haunting female vocal singing over building pads that remind me of some of Dennis Ferrer’s tech tracks. With tracks punctuated by aggressive kicks and highly danceable melodies, this label will be one to look out for.
