Billy Butler and Just Vibes Radio have announced a new collaboration with Chicago-based Restricted Radio.
The project “brings together a team of UK DJs and producers to showcase the sounds of the British underground to a Chicago audience,” Butler said in a release. “Through Restricted Radio, these UK sounds will be transmitted directly into Chicago, creating a musical exchange between two influential dance-music communities.”
The collaboration “offers a focused way to explore how underground dance sounds travel between scenes, how artists express their own musical identities, and how radio can connect audiences across borders.
“At its heart, this is an audio-led collaboration: the selections and mixes take centre stage.”
The UK Househeads Mixshow Session 001 debuts on Saturday, October 3 on Restricted, featuring Paul Groove, Beau Le Marsh, Billy Butler, Deano DNA, Mr ADZ, Pat Waller and Wayne Smith. Show starts at 5pm on restrictedradio.com.
