We’re pleased today to announce the launch of another curated monthly mix series, this time from Chicago’s renown DJ collective, 3 Degrees.
The 3 Degrees Global Spotlight will feature a new mix each month from the group’s extended family of DJs from around the world, beginning with mixes from the residents of their Wednesday night in Chicago and then will include past residents, guests, and future guests.

And who is 3 Degrees?
Beginning in late 1999, the 3 Degrees members-only Wednesday nights in Chicago, held at spots like Sidecar, Fuse, and Zentra, felt like center of the house music universe. Each week a family of friends would come together in the name of house music to get down to 3 Degrees resident DJs and a well-curated collection of guests that included both legendary DJs/producers, unsung heroes, and skilled up-and-comers. Over the years as the membership grew, 3 Degrees organized parties for their members in Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Detroit, Washington D.C., and Miami.
The resident DJs of 3 Degrees now include Julius “the Mad Thinker,” Jeremiah Seraphine, DJ Monna, bigSEXY, FLX, and their newest resident, 5 Magazine’s own Czboogie.
