Ka§par calls this two part, four hour mix Snorkeling on Mushrooms, blending some of “Ka§par’s most-played tracks of 2024—both old and new.”
There’s so much that we love about Ka§par’s style here — impervious to fashion or fad but always, always in great taste.
The mix features several tracks from Percebes Música, Ka§par’s underground Lisbon-based label. Looking ahead, Percebes is set to release a follow-up to minimalArchiv’s 2023 project, as well as Hélder Russo’s first 12” LP on vinyl. Meanwhile, Ka§par continues to collaborate with labels like Freerange and Shadow Pressings for house music projects, and In The Dark Again and Snuff Trax for film scores and acid house/techno explorations.
Ka§par delivers an honest and dynamic representation of real DJing, emphasizing the seamless fusion of music history with contemporary stylistic and aesthetic strains. Rejecting over-complicated routines, Ka§par prioritizes authenticity, avoiding obvious track choices while curating relatable and immersive musical environments.
