An intense love for all styles of house music combined with a never-ending search for that ultimate track is what motivates her sets. Jillian X has DJ’d throughout Chicago at Le Nocturne, Celeste, Emporium, Sleeping Village, Virgin Hotels, Arbella, Nine Bar, Logan11, Brunchlox, and My House Music Fest. She has curated events for Red Bull Dance Your Style, Silver Room Block Party, Sleeping Village, The Whistler and Elastic Arts, among others.

“I wanted to celebrate the sounds that I bring to my monthly Dance Planet residency at Emporium,” in Logan Square every 4th Saturday, she says. “Growing up in the 90’s in NJ, I was exposed to early club and house tracks often played on the radio, and while I didn’t then know their origins in Chicago, I always knew how those tracks made me feel, and they still make me feel the same way to this day!! It’s peak energy vibes, incorporating influence from Chicago and Jersey, mixing deep n soulful house with some high octane club bangers.”
