A native New Yorker now resident in Barcelona, Spain, Ralph Session has learned over time how to create distinct musical vibes in his productions and DJ sets. Session has been on a tear lately, releasing dope records on Freerange and Local Talk, so we asked him to put together this issue’s cover mix — a 2.5 hour set for our Sanctify deep house series.
“All the shit I spoke about [in this issue’s interview], I put into this mix,” Ralph says. “There definitely was some drinks and a J or 2 involved, yezzir. But the mix is full of tracks that I love. New shit, my shit, classics, it’s all there! I went heavy on the NY/Chicago connection because ayyy that’s my shit. It’s over two hours so I went to a lot of different places.
