Louie Vega is giving Manhattan a much needed shot in the arm with a new club night and, quite possibly, residency.
Aimed at dancers and “musical friends,” Expansions NYC is the name of Grammy Award winner Louie Vega’s new Wednesday night event aimed at bringing Manhattan a “much needed dose of authentic nightlife fever.”
The event is at Doux Supper Club in the Chelsea Area – aka “the ole stomping grounds on 21 Street and 6th Avenue,” according to Louie. Expansions NYC launches on Wednesday, February 27 2019 and continues on March 6, 13 and 20th with support from “special appearances by his very talented and esteemed circle of close DJ, Producer and Recording Artist friends.”
Doux is at 59 West 21st Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues); cover is $20 with comp admission between 10 and 11pm. The full release follows:
