Disclosure, Kaytranada, and Tame Impala are among the nominees for best dance/electric recording and Ron Trent features prominently among the nominees for best remix in the roll of 2026 Grammy Award nominees, announced by the Recording Academy on Friday.
This year’s electronic music categories again filter out “dance pop” from “dance/electronic,” with the former category featuring stars like Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga. In the “Best Dance/Electronic Recording,” Disclosure and Anderon .Paak’s “No Cap” features prominently along with “End of Summer” from Tame Impala and Kaytranada’s “Space Invader”:

The “Best Dance/Electronic Album” category features Fred again.., Rüfüs Du Sol and Skrillex, who is looking to make history with the first electronic album with the word “FUCK” in the title to bring home the gold:

Fortunes rise and fall on David Guetta’s name being here, and the voters oblige:
