Eight years after they dropped “Any Kind of Pressure” on Kitsuné, producer Lorenz Rhode and vocalist Jamie Lidell are teaming up again for a new single.
“Sandpaper” is the title track of a new EP dropping on vinyl & digital from Dirt Crew Recordings, out December 4, 2020. The four track EP features two original tracks plus a remix from “Sound Support,” a new-ish project featuring Lorenz Rhode and Lars from Dam Swindle (formerly Detroit Swindle). Listen up:
A lunatic jam, “Sandpaper” was built with a “Minimoog bass, Rhodes piano and some sparkles from a very old Roland synth that Lorenz had just bought, and which is now broken.”
